Job Responsibilities
Purpose of the Role:
The primary objective is to oversee the planning, organization, administration, and delivery of training programs, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and local requirements. The role focuses on training and developing staff across various roles, including Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, Assistant Cooks, Housekeepers, Waiters, and public area cleaners, in alignment with Sodexo standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and deliver induction programs to help new employees integrate smoothly into the organization.
- Train newly recruited staff in food production, F&B service, and housekeeping, covering both specialized service standards and fundamental procedures.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to identify training needs through a structured Training Need Identification (TNI) exercise.
- Conduct on-site training at offshore vessels, rigs, and platforms to elevate standards in food production, F&B service, housekeeping, and laundry operations.
- Assist in preparing and adhering to monthly and yearly training calendars in collaboration with the HR Manager.
- Develop and execute in-house training programs, ensuring team members understand and implement established standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching to maintain consistency in service quality.
- Regularly update training materials and maintain organized training documentation.
- Deliver targeted training programs to support low-performing employees.
- Educate employees on method statements and job safety analyses to enhance workplace safety.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to monitor training progress and performance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Ensure training programs stay within budget and assess their return on investment.
