Job Responsibilities
The Airplane Cleaner will be responsible to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of aircraft cabins so that passengers have a comfortable journey. Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting and vacuuming of the aircraft.
- Seat & Cabin: Sanitize passenger seats, headrests, tray tables and seat pockets.
- Restroom Sanitization: Clean and disinfect airplane lavatories and restock supplies.
- Cabin Preparation: Arrange blankets, pillows and other amenities for passengers.
- Waste Management: Dispose of trash properly, according to safety and environmental regulations.
- Safety Procedures: Follow safety guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Do post-cleaning inspection to ensure high cleanliness standards.
- Reporting: Inform supervisor of any damages, missing items or irregularities found inside the aircraft.
Requirements
- 2 years experience in cleaning, preferably in aviation or hospitality.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols.
- Basic English speaking skills.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically fit to do cleaning tasks.
- High attention to detail and can work under pressure.
