Job Description

Dewan Consultants is currently hiring General Farm Workers for a fish farm in Qatar. This role involves assisting in daily farm operations, looking after fish stock, maintaining water quality and supporting farm supervisors in overall farm management.

Key Responsibilities

Farm Management:

• Assist in daily farm operations, feeding fish and maintaining water quality.

• Clean and maintain fish tanks, ponds and farm equipment.
• Ensure proper storage and usage of fish feed and farming tools.

Fish Health and Safety:

• Observe fish behavior to detect any signs of disease or stress.
• Assist in administering medications or treatments as instructed.
• Follow farm safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean working environment.

Harvesting and Production:

• Help in harvesting fish at the right size and weight.
• Sort, package and prepare fish for transportation or sale.
• Operate basic farm machinery and equipment as needed.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of feeding schedules, water quality tests and fish stock levels.
• Report any mechanical or operational issues to farm management team.

Sustainability and Environmental Compliance:

• Follow sustainable aquaculture practices to minimize environmental impact.
• Ensure compliance with farm regulations and safety standards.
